Who is Ana?
Behind anaroundthewine is me, Ana – a true wine enthusiast with a global perspective.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in International Wine Business and a Master's degree in Wine Business from Geisenheim University, nestled in the picturesque Rheingau region of Germany. With nearly a decade of experience in the international wine industry, I’ve gained deep insights into various wine markets through professional roles in France, the UK, and Germany.
In 2023, I earned my WSET Level 3 Wine Certificate, and since 2018, I’ve been hosting corporate and private wine events in German, English, French, and Portuguese. My passion lies in making wine education fun and accessible, crafting unforgettable wine and food pairings, and developing strategic solutions for businesses in the wine industry.
With a rich international background—having lived in China, Australia, France, Germany, and the UK—and a Brazilian-German heritage, I bring a unique intercultural and multilingual approach to the world of wine.
